1. What information do we collect?

While you are shopping at our store, we do not collect any information about what you are doing.  As you select items to purchase, they will be added to your "shopping cart".  This information will be recorded and maintained for as long as you are shopping.  If you leave the store without making a purchase, your "shopping cart" will expire in about an hour.

To protect your privacy, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for your personal information.  SSL provides encryption so that the information which you submit will not be visible to anyone on the Internet.  

There is no Personal Identifying Information on our system until you either create an account or you make a purchase.  

The information which we collect when you create an account either to make a purchase or to request notification of future offers includes:

• A Login ID - You select this.  It must be unique on our system.
• An Email Address - In case you forget your password, upon request, we will send your password to this email address.
• A Password - You decide on a password for signing on to our store.
• The following are collected for both Bill-To and Ship-To addresses.  (The Bill-To address is only required if it is different from the Ship-To address.)

  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Fax Number (optional)
  • Company Name (optional)
  • Address
  • City, State/Province
  • Zip / Postal Code
  • Country

If you make a purchase, we also record information on the product or products purchased.

When you go to "check out", we collect only the information required to complete the transaction.

Credit card information is used only to authorize the purchase.  We do not store credit card information on our server.

When you create an account on our system, the information will be stored on the server in a secure area.  This information is not accessible by anyone other than authorized Espordz Inc. representatives.

2. What do we do with the information which we collect?

The primary purpose for collecting information is to enable us to complete your order.

We may use the information which you provide to further market our products.

3. With whom do we share your information?

We do not share your Personal Identifying Information with outside parties other than for shipment of your order.

We do not disclose any Personal Identifying Information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How can you update or correct your Personal Identifying Information?

You can access and edit the Personal Identifying Information that you have provided to us. During the online ordering process you can review, change, or delete the information that you have submitted.  You may change any of your personal information in your account online at any time.  We encourage you to promptly update your information if it changes.  You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed; however, because we keep track of past purchases, you cannot delete information associated with past purchases.

5. What are your choices regarding collection, use, and distribution of your information?

We may from time to time send you e-mail or other communications regarding current promotions, specials and new additions to the Espordz site.  You may "opt-out," or unsubscribe from our newsletters by following the unsubscribe instructions in any e-mail you receive from us or by sending an e-mail to optout@espordz.com  After doing so, Espordz users will not receive future communication or mailings unless they open a new account.

6. What security precautions are in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of your information?

At Espordz you can be assured that your personal and account information is secure, consistent with current industry standards.  The importance of security for all Personal Identifying Information associated with our customers is of utmost concern to us.  Our secure server protects the information using advanced technology.

In order to most efficiently serve you, credit card transactions and order fulfillment are handled by established third party banking, processing agents and distribution institutions.  They receive the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card and to process and ship your order.

When you access your account information, the information is kept on a secure server.  All of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access by physical security means.

7. Use of "cookies".

When you use our site, we may store cookies on your computer in order to facilitate and customize your use of our site.  A cookie is a small data text file, which a Web site stores on your computer's hard drive (if your Web browser permits) that can later be retrieved to identify you to Espordz.  Our cookies store randomly assigned user identification numbers, the country where you are located, and your first name to welcome you back to our site.  The cookies make your use of the site easier, allow you to retrieve an earlier shopping cart, make the site run more smoothly and help us to maintain a secure site.  You will be unable to shop on our site without your browser set to accept cookies.

This Customer Internet Privacy Statement was last changed on July 8, 2000.  If Espordz makes changes to any terms or conditions of the Customer Internet Privacy Statement, the changes will be posted in this document so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and to whom we will disclose it.  We may change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time.
